SOYO TECHNOLOGY ANNOUCE OVERAL SOLUTION OF WIRELESS SPEAKER IN SHENZHEN,CHINA

    SOYO Technology Development Co. Ltd. officially issued an overall solution about the 2.4G wireless speaker developed with its 2.4G wireless digital audio transmission module--SOYO-WM24G02 in its Shenzhen Headquarters, on July 7, 2008. At the same time, the samples of its sound box attached to the ceiling, portable acoustic, desktop speaker were on displaying, so the participates could have a try, which made the atmosphere on the scene even warmer. All the participates were very satisfied with the audio-visual effects.

   The overall plan about the 2.4 G wireless speaker has the following characteristics:

   1. It supports infrared remote control function and makes the true wireless control function possible. With the infrared remote control, it is able to control the transmitter, to control the wireless speaker switching on/off, to control the digital volume from 0(mute)-32, and the channel change.

  2.It supports nickel hydrogen rechargeable battery, and may provide the built-in rechargeable module, making it possible to use without a power line. According to  the customer’s request, it may provide the built-in rechargeable module to support the nickel hydrogen rechargeable battery package of large capacity in favor of the environmental protection, and may achieve 1-4 hour rapid charge rate (Charging time may differ with different capacity).

 3. It provides two modes of power amplifier: analog and digital. The power amplifier power may vary from 1 to 40 watts according to the customer’s demand.

4. The transmitting and receiving Box simultaneously support the channel and the volume display, the channel and the volume digit tuning, the soft power on/off and some other special functions.

 5. It offers a real high fidelity sound quality. This solution  about the 2.4 G hi-fi digital wireless speaker released by SOYO Technology Development Co. Ltd. provides a sampling rate as high as 64K, and its acoustic fidelity standard achieves HDCD acoustic fidelity standard, which is the highest target for the present domestic wireless audio frequency transmission industry.

Note 1: The sampling rate is the parameters which have been actually achieved by SOYO Technology Development Co. Ltd. rather than those which are mentioned in some publicity, such as: 96k at highest(but not actually achieved)but in reality, only 32 k/44.1k/48k sampling rate of products are actually available to customers. This note is just to remind you of that.

Note 2: About sampling rate

Sampling rate refers to the sampling frequency of the sound (analog) being transformed into digital signals. That is the number of the sampling points during a certain period of time. Each point has eight bits or more.

    The sampling rate is similar to the number of dynamic images. For instance, movie's sampling rate is 24 HZ; the PAL pattern sampling rate is 25 HZ; the NTSC pattern sampling rate is 30 HZ. When we replay some sampled static pictures at their sampling rate, what we see is continuously moving pictures. Similarly, when we reply CD at the speed of 44.1KHZ, the same as the sampling rate of its being recorded, we can hear a continuous sound. And when HDCD is broadcasted at the speed of 64KHZ, the same as the sampling rate of its being recorded; it can become a sound of high quality and high fidelity. Obviously, the higher the sampling rate is, the more coherent the sound and pictures become. Certainly, resolution sampling rate of man's sense of hearing and the organ of sight is limited, and the sound sampled at 64KHZ is the limit for most people; the vast majority can hardly perceive the difference.

And the number in sound, similar to the number in the color of a picture, indicates each sampling data. The greater the data is, certainly, the more accurate the playback sound is. The sound of a boiling kettle won’t be confused as the train whistle. The same is true in the case of screen images, which may be clearer and more accurate, and blood can not be taken for tomato sauce at all. However, due to the restrictions of man’s organ function, 16 sounds and 24 pictures are basically the greatest to ordinary people. And greater data can only be distinguished by the instrument. For instance, the telephone is 7 sounds sampled at 3KHZ; CD 16 sounds sampled at 44.1KHZ; HDCD 16 sounds at 64KHZ. Therefore CD is clearer than the telephone, and HDCD is better in sound quality compared with CD. In principle, the higher the sampling rate is, the better the sound quality is. The different sampling rate and the bit rate will affect the fidelity of the digital audio equipment.
